Pedal To The Metal Radio- The New Year's Eve Special

We just wanted to wish everyone a safe and Happy New Year as we countdown the hours and minutes to the end of this terrible year that was 2020. However on the podcast, we celebrate the best of 2020 by revealing the Rock/Metal/Extreme Metal albums of the year as well as the Unsigned Band Of The Year which is Ohio's own The Dead Don't Sleep. As usual, you can check out the show on all of these sources: Anchor.fm, Apple Podcasts, Breaker, Google Podcasts, Spotify, Overcast, and Radio Public.

Pedal To The Metal Radio- The Podcast Episode 11

This week's episode is a somber one as we reflect on the senseless act of violence from a Minnesota Police Officer who killed George Floyd. WE also look at how the rock and metal community has responded to the events that are transpiring every day since. We also talk some rock and metal news like Hazmat suits for concerts, a possible Job For A Cowboy reunion, and we talk about the Slay At Home Fest that was put on by Metal Injection. We also have the Unsigned Band Of The Week in Bakersfield's very own Thrash Metal band Bombscare. As always you can check out the podcast on our various formats that include Anchor FM, Apple Podcasts, Google Podcasts, Spotify, and Radio Public.

Pedal To The Metal Radio: The Podcast Episode 9

On this week's edition of the show, we have a brand new intro as well as a brand new segment on the show called Artists You Should Know. The very artist that you should know is none other than the most extreme black metal band of all time in Witch Taint as we play their track Sons Of Satan. We also have the Unsigned Band of the Week as this week's band is City Of Dis, a Prog Metal band from Boston, MA that absolutely kicks ass as we play their track Oathbreaker. We also have some news to talk about on the show like virtual concerts, the ten year anniversary of Ronnie James Dio's passing, Hunter Hunt Hendrix of Liturgy, and so much more. Plus, we have a very brief chatroom talk segment with Joe Goldman and Reba Myer of Code Orange as well. As always you can check out the podcast on our various formats that include Anchor FM, Apple Podcasts, Google Podcasts, Spotify, and Radio Public.

Pedal To The Metal Radio: The Podcast Episode 7

On this week's episode of the Podcast, we start with our weekly shout out and this week it's from Chris Cain of Bad Wolves who was kind enough to send us a shout out. We also have our latest Unsigned Band Of The Week coming all the way from Colorado, it's When Darkness Falls (facebook.com/whendarknessfallswdf) who connected with us through a group post on Facebook. This week we talk some news around the metal and rock world that includes the idea of drive in concerts being a possibility as well as some other news like Killswitch Engage releasing an EP of unused tracks as well as some articles on whether the CIA helped the Scorpions and much more. Then we get into this week's Chatroom talk with Jami and Shade of Code Orange who were kind enough to answer my questions. We also have the first ever Pedal To The Metal Mixtape that we talk about on the show. Check out the episode on Anchor, Spotify, Apple Podcasts, Google Podcasts, and Radio Public,

Pedal To The Metal Radio: Live On Facebook Playlist 4/18/2020

Last night, I attempted to do the first ever livestream episode of Pedal To The Metal radio live on the Pedal To The Metal Facebook page. The show started off without a hitch and it was going so well for the first half hour until I was disconnected for the first time. I figured maybe the reason for it was due to the track that I was playing, but then I was almost immediately booted off again during a Korn track for what Facebook said was Canada's fault because I was playing copy-written music. That ticked me off and when I came back for the third time, I had no choice, but to play Unsigned bands right after the two Mashups I played. So, House Party Isolation Style did not go the way I wanted it to, but I thought it finished strongly. Here is the playlist to the episode:

1. Saturday Nights Alright For Fighting by W.A.S.P.
2. Year Zero by Ghost
3. Blasphemy by Bring Me The Horizon
4.  No Masters by Bad Wolves
5. The Ghost That's Haunting You by Trivium
6. Layers Of Time by Lacuna Coil
7. Enough by Nerv (Special Request)
8. Fuck You and All Your Friends by Falling In Reverse
9. Don't Go Away Mad by Motley Crue
10. Cold by Korn
11. Girls, Girls, Girls! (You Mama, Too) by Bill McClintock
12. With A Rebel Yell She Cried, Don't Give Up The Fight by Bill McClintock
13. Bombs Away by Bloodline Theory
14. The Dark Of Night by Ensilenced
15. The Cold by Beyond Deth
16. That Which Is Unnameable by ZFL
17. Callow by .Bipolar
18. War Inside My Head by Activate
19. Season Of The Witch by Youngblood Supercult
20. Godless by Bloodshot Dawn
21. Reanimated Monstrosity by Strychnia

Pedal To The Metal Radio: The Podcast Episode 5

On this week's episode of the show, we have a shout out from Gary Holt of Exodus/Slayer, we have this week's Unsigned Band Of The Week in Seattle's own GHOSTBLOOD (facebook.com/ghostbloodmetal) plus we talk about Ticketmaster and the refund fiasco, concerts and maybe when they will be returning, and what in the hell is Trapt thinking? We didn't want to touch that topic for a while, but things are getting a little out of hand these days. We also for the first time have the Mashup Of The Week from Bill McClintock (McClintock Mashups) called Girls, Girls, Girls! (Your Mama, Too) (Motley Crue Vs Cameo), and we have Pustulus Maximus of GWAR on this week's edition of Chatroom Talk. During the episode, we talked about a great project from a band called Till The Days End which features Periphery drummer Matt Halpern, A Perfect Circle bassist Matt McJunkins, and Vestascensions guitarist Justin Gosnell. The track which is titled The Road To Awakening is the band's way of raising money to benefit the Mental Health Association of Frederick County. You can donate by purchasing the single here. I also mentioned int he podcast that Maddi Lane, who is the daughter of the late Jani Lane of Warrant has recorded an incredible cover of the Warrant track Stronger Now and you can check that out here.Check out the podcast right now through these links: Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Anchor, and Google Podcasts
