On this week's episode of the Podcast, we start with our weekly shout out and this week it's from Tim "Ripper" Owens and we also have our latest Unsigned Band Of The Week coming all the way from Indiana, it's Mantra Of Morta (facebook.com/MantraofMorta). This week we talk some news around the metal and rock world that includes the time Eddie Van Halen held a gun to Fred Durst's head which leads me into my story of how I met Fred Durst. We also talk about Trivium's brand new album What The Dead Men Say before we get into this week's Chatroom talk with Reba Meyer of Code Orange and Jizmak De Gusha of GWAR. Pedal To The Metal Radio: Live On Facebook Playlist 4/18/2020
Last night, I attempted to do the first ever livestream episode of Pedal To The Metal radio live on the Pedal To The Metal Facebook page. The show started off without a hitch and it was going so well for the first half hour until I was disconnected for the first time. I figured maybe the reason for it was due to the track that I was playing, but then I was almost immediately booted off again during a Korn track for what Facebook said was Canada's fault because I was playing copy-written music. That ticked me off and when I came back for the third time, I had no choice, but to play Unsigned bands right after the two Mashups I played. So, House Party Isolation Style did not go the way I wanted it to, but I thought it finished strongly. Here is the playlist to the episode:
1. Saturday Nights Alright For Fighting by W.A.S.P.
2. Year Zero by Ghost
3. Blasphemy by Bring Me The Horizon
4. No Masters by Bad Wolves

Pedal To The Metal Radio: The Podcast Episode 5
On this week's episode of the show, we have a shout out from Gary Holt of Exodus/Slayer, we have this week's Unsigned Band Of The Week in Seattle's own GHOSTBLOOD (facebook.com/ghostbloodmetal) plus we talk about Ticketmaster and the refund fiasco, concerts and maybe when they will be returning, and what in the hell is Trapt thinking? We didn't want to touch that topic for a while, but things are getting a little out of hand these days. We also for the first time have the Mashup Of The Week from Bill McClintock (McClintock Mashups) called Girls, Girls, Girls! (Your Mama, Too) (Motley Crue Vs Cameo), and we have Pustulus Maximus of GWAR on this week's edition of Chatroom Talk. During the episode, we talked about a great project from a band called Till The Days End which features Periphery drummer Matt Halpern, A Perfect Circle bassist Matt McJunkins, and Vestascensions guitarist Justin Gosnell. The track which is titled The Road To Awakening is the band's way of raising money to benefit the Mental Health Association of Frederick County. You can donate by purchasing the single here. I also mentioned int he podcast that Maddi Lane, who is the daughter of the late Jani Lane of Warrant has recorded an incredible cover of the Warrant track Stronger Now and you can check that out here.Check out the podcast right now through these links: Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Anchor, and Google Podcasts

Pedal To The Metal: The Podcast Episode 3
That's right people, after having the long lost interview with Mark Kendall of Great White last week, we have survived another week of lockdown to bring you another episode of the show. We have a couple of new segments this week that we are going to try and do every week as long as we possibly can with the first being the Unsigned Band of the Week. Each and every week, we are going to showcase a band from anywhere in the United States and anywhere in the whole entire world. So, if you are Unsigned and you want to be on the podcast, then reach out to the show's email address pedaltothemetalradioshow@gmail.com and we will get you on. The first band that we featured for you guys comes all the way from New Haven, CT and they are called Fear The Masses. The band combines elements of Hip Hop, Nu-Metal, Metalcore, to bring you an in your face approach and the band's lyrical content is just as intense as they still socially and economically aware as well. Also this week, we have a bizzare story to tell about Jean-Pascal Fournier and what he did to his poor 80 year old father. We also have a new segment called Chat Room Talks where I go into chat rooms and ask bands some questions and I record their reponses if they answer my question and this week we have Andreas Kisser and Derrick Greene of Sepulura. The episode also features a shout out from Suicide Silence Guitarist Mark Heylmun!!! Check out the episode below:
