Vulgar Display Of Power 20 Years Later

On February 25, 2012, Pantera's second album Vulgar Display Of Power turned 20 years old. It was one of the most influential metal albums to come out of the 90's and is an album that is still revered in the Metal community. In my opinion, if your not a Pantera fan and you were looking for an album to get familiar with, this would most definitely be the one. The album was a definite game changer for me and it gave me a whole new perspective on the world of Metal.

The album features Iconic songs such as Walk, A New Level, This Love, Mouth For War, Fucking Hostile, and so many more great tracks. This to me was always one of the albums that you could listen to from beginning to end and you would never get tired of it.

On May 15, 2012, Rhino Entertainment will be releasing a 20th anniversary edition of the album with some goodies. The first disc will be the original album remastered with a special track that Vinny Paul found that was left over from the recording sessions called Piss. The second disc will be a live DVD that features Pantera performing most of the tracks from the album live with classic hits from their debut album. I am definitely excited for this release and I just wanted to say that the album will always be an iconic album no matter how many years pass. Besides when you see the album cover, you are in total disbelief that some guy would be that stupid to be punched in the face 50 times before they got the right shot. Well, I am happy someone stepped up the plate because it's a badass album cover.
